Wait! Don't skip past this post because of the band name Death Vessel! I'll admit I almost skipped seeing him open for St. Vincent because I was put off by the name.

Actually, Death Vessel is a man named Joel Thibodeau, who plays gentle, acoustic, country-tinged songs. His soprano voice is unique and will catch your attention. I was completely charmed by him and bought his CD, "Stay Close." I'm sharing a few tracks here in the hopes that you'll like it too and be interested in hearing more from him.
